She's Always Right

We stayed at She’s Always Right after seeing it recommended multiple times on local FB pages. We had been to AMI the year prior, but stayed in Bradenton. We decided for our return trip, location was important! We scoured the maps and looked at several properties. She’s Always Right checked every box on the list. There are 3 king bedrooms all with on suite bathrooms, which was perfect for multiple families. The room with twin beds had a bathroom next door and the kids (ages 9, 7, 4) were thrilled about the triple bunk. Additionally, each room had a TV. The communication with the owners was coordinated through email and straightforward check-in and check-out instructions were communicated to us. The house was clean and the backyard space was perfect. There was ample shade on the patio, and spots to sit near the pool. The pool was visible from the living room and the sliding doors were equipped with alarms for safety of swimming children. There were plenty of chairs and pool toys we took with us to the beach as well. The location is ideal, walkable to The Feast and Anna Maria Island Coffee Shack, which were two of our favorites. Lots of cute shopping as well. Quick golf cart ride away from both Bridge Street for shopping and dinner or Pine Street for ice cream (Two Scoops and Dips) and donuts from The Donut Experiment. The home is clean and beautiful, but if any doubts, the 5 minute walk to the beach solidifies how much of a gem this house is. We were easily able to head back and forth each day! Our only real issue was we had some difficulty with the dishwasher draining the first day, but I texted the owners and maintenance was out and promptly fixed it for us. They were also very accommodating to allow us a late checkout. My ONLY (and I mean ONLY) con is that the upstairs bedrooms did not cool as well as the lower. It was a little toasty up there at night when temps were very warm during the day. We grabbed an extra box fan and that helped a little. Would highly recommend this property for anyone looking and if we return to AMI, will look to book here first!

We had such a great stay at "She's Always Right"!! Location is super convenient i.e. walking distance to the beach, restaurants & shops, but still quiet at night. And it's the perfect size for a group! Especially since most of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. We loved the pool & deck areas (great having a grill), layout/openness, large dining table, and washer/dryer. Everything throughout was immaculately clean, accurate to the listing descriptions, and the beds were SO comfortable! Communication with the homeowner was quick and seamless. We can't wait to come back :)

This house was perfect for our group. It came with more than enough dishes (plates, bowls, cookware, cutlery, etc) and several items to enjoy in the pool or at the beach. The home was clean and smelled clean, which is always something that stands out to me. I love walking in the door to a fresh smelling home. The pool was a nice size for everyone to enjoy together. The walk to the beach was very manageable (only a block away for access). There were a few games and puzzles in a couple different areas. The only thing that I could think of that would make this house any more perfect would be some type of small game room space for kids/teens. It's certainly not needed, but on rainy days or days when the kids just want to be inside it would be fun for them to be able to have a few more things to do at the house. The company was easy to work with and very kind. I would definitely go through them again and would stay at this house again anytime!

This is my third time staying at one of the Once Upon a Beach homes. This is my favorite house so far. It was perfect for bringing my 3 kids and mother-in-law with this time. Everyone had their own bedroom and plenty of space. The master bedroom on the main floor was awesome. I really liked the huge walk-in closet and the double sinks meant my husband had his own. We cooked at the house a few times and had everything we needed. The grill could be replaced as it’s a little rusty, but we made it work for us. The kids enjoyed the pool everyday. There are games and puzzles in the bunk room that the kids liked. The garage has quite a few beach supplies. The bigger camping chairs were nice for my mother-in-law to sit in. The house is super close to restaurants and gift shops. We enjoyed being able to walk to to places instead of having to drive. Nikki and Mike are really great to work with and they take exceptional care of all their properties. All 3 houses I have stayed at have been super clean. They are only a text or phone call away if you ever need anything. I can’t wait to come back in October.

We just returned from a weeks stay at the amazing "She's Always Right" home. Wow, were we impressed! This home had everything we needed and more. We lacked for nothing during our vacation and left feeling refreshed and relaxed. We originally planned for 3 couples, however one couple came down with an illness and we ended up having just 4 of us in this huge home. It was clean, well decorated, had comfortable and good seating for our quiet movie watching evenings, and the beds were comfortable and roomy. We especially appreciated the quiet neighborhood off of the busy main road, and the easy 5 minute walk to the Gulf of Mexico. The sunsets and white sandy beaches never disappoint. The staff at Once Upon A Beach were helpful and kept us up to date on our deposit, final payments, arrival and departure information. We hope to plan another trip to the beautiful Anna Maria and hope that "She's Always Right" will be available when we do.

As the previous reviewer stated, this house is exactly as portrayed on the Once Upon A Beach AMI site., that was a pleasant surprise! We have rented from other sites across the US and only one other home was this perfect, in CA wine country. The owners have equipped this house as if they live there full time. The space is very large and easily houses 3 couples. We didn’t even use the bunk or twin bed rooms but will certainly will be looking to rebook next year with our family including grandchildren. The entire house was spotless, well equipped with kitchen tools and small appliances, including blender and crockpot. Large Appliances were spotless and easy to use. We enjoyed the extra ice maker too. Dining table is huge and plenty of space. The bathrooms were pristine and well equipped with towels, toilet paper and all sinks have soap dispensers filled with gentle Soft Soap. The gathering space has two full size couches and two chairs, plenty of sitting area. The are a few games to play too. The laundry facility houses Matag washer and dryer, easy to use and very clean. Although we didn’t need to use it, the house has base board vacuuming too. Outside you’ll find a beautiful pool and spa, separate deck with table/chairs and grill. The pool has a special gate for children which is a great safety feature. The weather was mostly in the low 70’s but the heated spa and pool were just perfect for this weather. These owners have thought of everything, including a child’s table seat, gate for the stairway, pool and beach toys, even a cart to carry them to the beach! Speaking of the beach, short 1/2 block to the nearest beach access. The beach is well groomed and not crowded. We walked from the house about a mile up the beach and crossed over to the street to come back. 3 mile walk total. The island is small but easily accessible. Within 2 blocks, Holmes Beach, has cute restaurants, bars, ice cream and souvenir shops. We recommend Hurricane Hanks and Vinny’s Italian restaurant. A short 10 minute ride to the north and you’re in Anna Maria City, well worth the ride and we recommend the Waterfront Restaurant for lunch. (If you want to dine for dinner you must make reservations a minimum 2 to 3 weeks in advance.) The south end, Bradenton Beach was nice, more crowded and just ok. We did enjoy lunch at the Beach House, on the water but service is a little slow, which is fine, you should be laid back when visiting AMI. (Again dining for dinner, make reservations 2 to 3 weeks in advance). We found the management office in AM City so we stopped to say hi, Nikki and Mike were very pleasant, easy to work with and very responsive. We have NO complaints with the home, location or managers. You can expect a top notch place and service. We did mention to Nikki and Mike only one suggestion, although the home is relatively new, all 3 king side beds are very noisy, they squeak with the slightest movement and it may be time to replace them, not the best beds for sleeping. The only other suggestion would be to add a grill cleaning brush. To the owners: Thanks for sharing your beautiful house, it was perfect and we will be back!

We frequently rent in AMI for long weekends. This was by far the best location & home. The house was really clean upon arrival. The design of the house is perfect for big families or multifamily use. The kitchen was well stocked with most cooking essentials/utensils. A quick walk (1/2 block) to the beach was perfect for our family which included my 80 year old father. It was great to borrow the beach chairs in the garage and other beach/pool toys. We will be back!

We enjoyed a fantastic visit to Anna Maria. This home is pristine, the furniture in every room is so comfortable and functional. It has many outdoor spaces to enjoy, the deck is wonderful for dining and relaxing. The pool was warm, with comfortable pool seating. It is very close to the beach, which is definitely a plus. We used the provided chairs and beach umbrellas every day. The neighborhood is so peaceful and quiet, which makes the location to stay ideal. Everything was fantastic, Nikki was great to work with, and we certainly hope to be back to AMI, and would definitely stay here.

he"s Always Right home in Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island is the perfect place to stay for a week or a month like we did! The home was cleaner than clean which was very important to me. It is perfect for a large family with plenty of room for everyone. There is a bathroom for everyone, a bedroom with a tv for everyone and the Roku system allows you to watch whatever! The kitchen is equipped with an awesome ice maker, a keurig coffee maker and a regular 12 cup coffee maker. It also has any dish, bowl, or utensil you could possibly need. The location of the house also makes it a special place to stay. I love the ocean and beach and it is very very close. The beach "stroller" is rusty, but it gets the job done. I loaded up our towels, little cooler, beach chairs and beach bag and pushed my stroller right onto the beach. If you go to the beach access without the chairs (go north on Gulf Dr to the first beach access) it's easy. There are several restaurants within walking distance that are very good. And the Small Town Creamery is too close too! Like every night needed my ice cream cone too close :) The Feast is good and close and so is the Fin Irish Pub. All of these restaurants are dine in outside seating or pick up. There is a small Mexican restaurant very close that we didn't get to try but close, Our favorite restaurant of all is Vinny's Italian. They have a few small tables outside but we mostly picked up.. The pizza and salads are delicious and actually all of the pasta is amazing., also the best bread. We walked over to pick up many times during our month. Having a golf cart we went to the Ugly Grouper for dinner and live music from 5-8. A golf cart is great, you can check out the entire island with it's many shops and restaurants. Anna Maria Island is wonderful and each little town on the island is a different pace. Explore them all :)

We just returned from She’s Always Right for a weeklong “girls trip”. The house is beautiful and exactly as it appears online. The pool was amazing. We were very pleased with the pool service who made a special trip to clean the pool after a storm, and they returned again the next day to make sure everything was as it should be with the pool clarity. In addition to the beautiful property the location is ideal. Minutes to the beach, trolley stops, restaurants, bars and shopping. One thing we did discover is although the bunk bed room is adorable and fun for kiddos, it is not designed for adults. So if everyone prefers their own room, best suited for 4 - yet easily sleeps 5 if sharing the twin bedroom. Definitely a 5 star Experience

My family and I have stayed in our fair share of beach rental houses. She's Always Right rates among the best. The house has every amenity you would need and the salt water pool was a personal favorite! The proximity to the beach was great- just across the street and around the corner. The staff was so accommodating and so friendly. I'd definitely recommend this house and the rental company!

Most responsive and friendly folks I have ever worked with on AMI. Even got a call and text on check-in day to let me know house was ready early if I was already on the island:)
