DESCRIPTION:Casa Posada is a charming old Florida Cracker cottage half block to beach. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath sleeps 6 (King, Queen & Sofa Bed), with a washer/dryer, lush landscaping in back yard with patio and best of all, it’s PET FRIENDLY! This historic home is the perfect place to enjoy the laid-back island life with the ones you love.
Upon entering the home, you will find a cozy living room, completely updated, and waiting for you to sit back, relax, and watch the game or your favorite movie. It’s the perfect spot to unwind after a long day at the beach! The couch is a sleeper sofa to provide extra sleeping space for 2! You’ll easily move into the dining room where there is proper seating for a family of four, to enjoy the fish dinner you caught or to bring in one of our many delicious restaurants take-out!
If eating out isn’t your style, you are provided with a full kitchen stoked with a full-size refrigerator, electric stove, oven, toaster, microwave, coffeemaker, pots & pans, and all the additional essentials you would need to enjoy a home cooked meal! Please note that this home does not have a dishwasher.
The King bedroom truly makes you feel like you’ve landed on Anna Maria Island in it’s warm and inviting space. You can forget all your worries as you settle in, cozy up, and enjoy your favorite shows as you drift off to sleep, dreaming of what the next day will bring! This bedroom has a ceiling fan, two nightstands, drawers for your belongings, a TV, and closet to unpack and make yourself at home! The second bedroom in this home provides the same luxury, apart from a single nightstand on one side and a floor lamp on the other – perfect to catch up on some reading!
The bathroom is newly renovated with quality, high-end fixtures, tiles, vanity, and walk-in shower. It’s sure to rejuvenate after spending the day exploring this fantastic vacation spot!
The sunroom brings the outdoors, inside! Fully wood paneled, it emphasizes the cottage feel while allowing in some Vitamin-C – but don’t worry! The AC and ceiling fan allow you to enjoy a view of the garden space while keeping cool in the heat of the summer.
The backyard provides a place to dine, a deck with pavers, and plenty of shade to bring your meals outside. The lush landscaping makes you feel like you’ve stepped back to a time before Anna Maria Island was a vacation destination. There is plenty of space to relax, but please note, this home does not have a pool or a fence.

POLICIES:
Dogs are accepted with prior approval only if they meet out pet policy guidelines, max of 2, < 65 lbs each, and with payment of $100-$200 per pet per stay.
NO SMOKING.
Registered Guest must provide copy of ID, be at least 25 years of age and be present throughout entire stay.
Quiet Hours 10p-8a. You are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property.
Reservations are typically taken for 7 night Saturday-Saturday stays. However, we can offer flexible stays with varying minimum night requirements and non-Saturday check-ins/check-outs during most of the year with exception to holidays and peak weeks unless city ordinances prohibit it. Always feel free to ask prior to booking to see if this is a possibility as we may not be able to accommodate changes after booking.
CLEANING AND SAFETY:
- We are dedicated to providing clean, safe, and comfortable homes for our guests and protecting the homes of our owners.
- We have developed a comprehensive COVID-19 Vacation Safety Plan and Cleaning and Sanitation Plan.
- All homes come with starter set of basic amenities, and all linens, towels, and bedding are provided. Cleaning fee covers cost of cleaning at departure. Daily housekeeping service is not included but available upon request at additional cost.
GOLF CART RENTALS:
Golf carts are a fun and easy way to get around the island! After booking, reserve one for your stay with our sister company, Once Upon A Beach Carts, for an exclusive discount for our vacation rental guests!
BABY EQUIPMENT RENTALS:
Baby equipment is not available for use at the home for safety and sanitation reasons. We are however partnered with local companies offering rentals of these items including pick-up and drop-off.
PAYMENTS: - 50% of total amount due must be made at time of reservation request to confirm reservation.
- 50% of total amount due must be paid on or before 60 days prior to check-in date
- Full amount due must be made at time of booking if check in date is within next 60 days.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Please review the details of our Cancellation Policy page or Terms & Conditions at booking. We encourage you to review as OUR POLICIES HAVE CHANGED as of MARCH 25, 2023. We continue to offer refunds of deposits for cancellations (for stays of 28 days or less) made greater than 60 days to arrival, however all cancellations are now subject to a non-refundable booking admin fee. We continue to offer our US Citizens guests (with exception to residents of NY and HI) the option of purchasing CSA Travel Insurance directly with us. We strongly encourage all guests to purchase Travel Insurance in the event of any unforeseen eventualities. Refunds or credits are not provided for COVID-19 related cancellations, weather or beach conditions outside of our cancellation policy. Hurricane season is June 1st – November 30th.Upon booking, we agree to uphold our agreement to our guests by reserving the home in the advertised condition for the dates of their choosing, at that time the Registered Guest knowingly enters into a two-way agreement to uphold their commitment to arrive as scheduled. If unforeseen issues arise, the Manager/Owner reserves the right to cancel any reservation subject to issuing a full refund without penalty or responsibility for providing lodging elsewhere.
Manager is not responsible for providing refunds due to circumstances beyond the Manager's control like travel disruptions, guest travel restrictions, work and school scheduling changes, etc. Weather, tropical storms, hurricane threats, environmental conditions like red-tide, construction, water, or beach conditions cannot be guaranteed.
In the event the dates of the reservation fall within a date range of a mandatory island evacuation, unforeseen unavailability of the home reserved AND unavailability of a comparable alternative home, or inability for vacation rentals to operate due to executive order, the guest will receive a full refund of all base rental rate, fees, and applicable taxes without penalty.
All cancellation requests must be initiated by Registered Guest through the website in which they booked and/or be in writing via email. Cancellation requests will not be accepted via phone, text, or by a member of the party other than the main Registered Guest.
